Who We Are
Chester County Christmas Lights is a holiday lighting company that works in the towns around Malvern, out to roughly 30 miles. We hang Christmas lights on houses for the season, install permanent lighting, light up businesses and events, and deliver Christmas trees.
The idea behind the company is simple. A lit house is one of the best parts of the season, and getting it there should not mean a weekend on a ladder, a tangle of strands in the garage and a cold afternoon in January pulling it all back down. We take on that work so you get the part you actually wanted: pulling into the driveway and seeing the house glow.
What We Do

Seasonal lights for your home
Rooflines, gutters, windows, porch rails, trees and shrubs, lit for the holidays. Christmas light installation includes coming back after the season to take everything down.
Permanent lighting
A permanent lighting system runs along the trim and stays up year round. It is color-changing LED lighting run from an app, so the house can be warm white on an ordinary evening and any color you like for a holiday, a game or a birthday.
Businesses and events
Storefronts, offices, HOA entrances and business properties get commercial holiday lighting for the season. Weddings, parties, company events and fundraisers get event lighting planned around the date.
Christmas tree delivery
We also bring a fresh-cut tree to your door through our Christmas tree delivery service, so the inside of the house is covered too.

We send a free quote
The price depends on the job: how long the roofline is, how high the lights go, how many trees and bushes you want lit, the colors, and whether you add a timer. Tell us about the property (a few photos help) and we will send a free quote. Asking costs nothing.
You choose how to have the lights
This is where we settle the details, such as warm white or multicolor, and C9 bulbs along the roof or mini lights on the shrubs.
We install the lights
We hang the display on the day agreed with you. For a seasonal home install, we come back after the holidays to take the lights down and store them until the following season.

For seasonal work we supply the lights. You get the house lit without buying a single strand, and you are free to change the look from one year to the next.
Takedown and Storage Included
With a seasonal home installation, taking the lights down and storing them is part of the job, not an add-on. The strands do not end up in a box in your basement. We pack them away and keep them until the next season comes around.
A Little About the Lights Themselves
People often ask what goes into a professional display, so here is the short version. Most installers work with two kinds of bulb. C9s are the larger, classic bulbs that trace a roofline and read clearly from the street. Mini lights are small and close together, which makes them the usual pick for wrapping tree trunks, railings and shrubs.
How the lights are attached matters as much as which lights you pick. In the trade, strands are held on with clips made for gutters, shingles and railings. Clips hold the lights without nails or staples, which is why installers use them on older trim. A timer is an optional extra: it can switch the lights on at dusk and off at night without anyone remembering to do it.
None of this is something you have to know before you call. It simply helps to have the words when you are picturing how you want the house to look.
